This week’s adventures: Petting Zoo, John Henry & The Little Mermaid (Updated)

Adventures for your bambino! Not your typical petting zoo. Stop in for NSO’s final children’s event of the annual celebration. BoogieBabes has a new start time on Wednesday, this week only. Don’t miss John Henry the Guitar Singing Man, a hit with most children. Check back on Sunday for more adventures.

9:30- Harambe at BloomBars

10:30-12:30- Musical Instrument Petting Zoo at DC Southwest Library (403 7th St SE) 2014 National Symphony Orchestra in Your Neighborhood allows children to enjoy hands on fun with instruments.

10:00- Samba Baby at Bloombars

10:00-Boogie Babies presents Lea at Union Market 

5:30 & 6:30- BloomBars presents !Uno, Dos, Tres con Andres!

Thursday, Jan. 16

10:30- Boogie Babes presents John Henry at Eastern Market

6:30 6:00- The Singing Lizard at Bloombars

10:00- Songs, stories & puppets at Bloombars

10:30-Boogie Babies presents Baba ras D at Atlas Performing Arts

  • Just got back from Uno Dos Tres con Andres -- and he really was a lot of fun.

    One other note -- it sounded like they were moving Singing Lizard to 6pm tomorrow (Thursday night) instead of 6:30. Thanks again!
