SMH World Breastfeeding Week Celebration and Global Big Latch-On

Please join the Women’s & Infants’ Services Department of Sibley Memorial Hospital as we celebrate World Breastfeeding Week. This is a free community event for Mothers, Babies, and their Support People. To celebrate World Breastfeeding Week, we will be participating in the Global Big Latch On. The Global Big Latch On event takes place at registered locations around the world, where people gather together to breastfeed and offer peer to peer support. Their friends, family, and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. To learn more about the Global Big Latch on click here.

Registration for the event starts at 9am and the Global Big Latch On will begin at 10:30am.

Along with the Global Big Latch On, our World Breastfeeding Week Celebration will include speakers, local vendors, refreshments, games, and giveaways. The first 50 registered attendees will also receive an exclusive goody bag! Please come show your support for breastfeeding in the community.
