Saturday-
Gates open at 9:00am:Andrews Air Force Base Air Show
(Park: FedEx Field and Branch Avenue Metro Station and they have shuttle service)
Guests will experience aerial demonstrations and learn more about the military personnel and equipment JBA uses to carry out the missions here. Open Ceremony 11:30am and Thunderbirds Performance at 3:00pm.
10:00am-4:00pm: The Big Build at National Building Museum

Be a builder for the day at the Big Build festival! Amateur builders young and old can discover what it’s like to build a brick wall, carve stone, hammer nails, and much more as they work side-by-side with designers, builders, and artisans demonstrating their skills. Meet plumbers, ironworkers, landscape architects, woodworkers, and experts in many other fields to learn about their professions and hobbies. This year at the Big Build, visitors can; Climb aboard trucks and tractors, Construct a log cabin, Imagine the view from the beams of a skyscraper, Compete in a nail driving contest and Create a hardware windchime.
10:30am: Baby Loves Disco: Back to School Party! at Jammin Java
(227 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA. 22180)
The fun spills out from the corners of the club: bubble machine, maracas, hula hoops, healthy food offerings; juice boxes! and LOTS of dancing. At its core, Baby Loves Disco is a dance party that brings parents with their children together with other parents. The experience includes a live music venue with a real DJ spinning and “real” music (no Barney!), lights, and a disco ball; balloons, face painting, crafts, a photo booth and other activities are commonly included to enhance this celebration of movement, children and our village. Fresh, healthy food is available as well as a bar. Tickets are $12.
10:30am-11:15am: Saturday Song Circle at Imagination Stage

You and your child are invited to a fun, interactive musical experience! An Early Childhood Teaching Artist explores a popular children’s book with your family through song and musical instruments, and you will receive a list of all the songs to practice at home. Activities in Saturday Song Circle are best for 1-3 year-olds but 4-5 year-old siblings and friends are also welcome to join in the fun. We’re Going on a Bear Hunt is the story this weekend. $8 per person.
10:30am-11:15am: Fall into Fall! at Tudor Place

Experience it with your favorite little one as we read, sing, and play in the garden. Children will participate in an interactive read-aloud, learn songs and related movements, and make a craft to take home, all geared to understanding and delighting in the season’s change. Children $5.
11:00am-4:00pm: Game on! STEM/STEAM Event at Koshland Science Museum

It’s game on at the Koshland Science Museum! Bring the whole family and join us for a free community event highlighting local games and their developers. Play STEM/ STEAM-themed games like Brain Garden, Immune Defense, and That Rock Paper Scissor Game!; hear talks from the people who created them; and win prizes!

Kids activities, health assessments, fitness demos, healthy snacks, music and giveaways.
12:00pm-7:00pm: H Street NE Festival
Featuring more than 500 artists and performacnes on 14 stages. Celebrate the renovated and booming H St. with music, food, kids stage and head to Atlas Performing Arts Center beginning at 12:00 for special events.
Sunday-
10:00am-10:45am: Sunday Fun-Day at Imagination Stage

We invite you and your child to bring your favorite stories to life through dramatic play activities, movement, music, and visual art. Each session you leave with a completed craft, as well as a Parent Pack to extend the experience at home. These popular workshops are themed around beloved children’s books. Activities in Sunday Fun-Day are most appropriate to 3-5 year-olds but 1-2 year-old siblings and friends are also welcome! Rainbow Fish is the story this weekend. $8 per person.

The popular Maker Faire Silver Spring was the first Maker Faire in the DC area, and it continues to grow each year! With over 14,000 people attending, Maker Faire Silver Spring has become the DC community’s home-town Maker Faire and includes a wide range of exhibitors, including federal agencies that deploy making everyday to advance their missions alongside local robotics teams, hobbyists and makers of all stripes.

This sort of boundary % black and white is smimteoes quite troublesome. But, I do think it is good to open your blog/journal for comments, coz somehow it is still very encouraging to have people responding to what you have wrote. ^^ eh well, just feel you are a very poor guy having to reply to dozens of messages everyday, which seems never-ending sigh T_T honestly, I feel frustrated whenever I come across comments like these it is just like a cycle newbies step into the gothic lolita field. After acquiring certain knowledge about the scene, they start to fighting against each other verbally with a view to confirm theirselves as an eligible one And one more thing, it's a trend I guess. Many people nowadays are impulse-driven: Responding without reading and thinking thoroughly about the 6Ws. (that's why I say you are poor)XDXD~ perhaps let's put an end to this discussion, shall we? because the next debate will be staged somewhere again one day UNLESS we all learn how to accept and appreciate others. ^^ p.s. my comments are in fact very local and rude( in cantonese~ because I was too tired when I gave the comment~ )
